Centreville, Virginia, October 30, 2014: Dextera Corporation announces the award of a three-year contract with the Veterans Benefits Administration to provide Quality Assurance (QA) services in support of the agency’s Document Conversion Services (DCS).

Under the $3.6 million Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) contract, Dextera will provide the VBA with onsite QA surveillance services to provide validation that the DCS vendors’ processes and plans will provide the agency with deliverables (images, data, workflow tools, and established claims) that meet VBA quality requirements. This work will take place at DCS facilities in Wisconsin, Iowa, Georgia and Kentucky.

Included in the award is a requirement for Dextera to review DCS vendors’ processes and procedures and make recommendations for improvement.

Dextera also has an optional task to provide QA surveillance of shredding services to be executed in the aforementioned facilities, as well as storage locations in Illinois and California.

“Dextera is excited to partner with the VBA to provide the quality component of their document conversion efforts,” said Dextera President and CEO Kathryn Daut. “We have successfully collaborated with this customer on a similar contract in the past, and are honored to support them to ensure our veterans’ benefit claims are adjudication ready.”
